Le but de cet article est, d’une part, d’analyser comment l’éducation reçue et le travail dans le monde du livre ont influencé l’éveil de la conscience occitane du poète, son soutien au fédéralisme européen et, par conséquent, la création du projet éditorial. De l’autre, on tentera de répondre à la question de savoir comment les publications de Fédérop ont pu contribuer, en France, à tenter d’éradiquer le chauvinisme de la littérature française et à faire entrer les littératures dites régionales et postcoloniales dans l’espace littéraire mondial, ou, comme dirait Goethe, dans la Weltliteratur. Enfin, un bilan sera dressé sur la question de savoir si le catalogue élaboré par Lesfargas, a conservé ou non l’héritage du poète avec les nouveaux éditeurs, Bernadette Paringaux et Jean-Paul Blot. After cultivating poetry and serving as a bookseller, translator and teacher, Bernat Lesfargas (1924-2018) founded the publishing label Fédérop in 1975 and was its director until 1999. The aim of this article is, on the one hand, to analyse how the education received and work in the book world influenced the awakening of the poet’s Occitan conscience, his support for European federalism and, consequently, the creation of the editorial project. On the other hand, we will try to respond to the way in which Fédérop’s publications contributed, within France, to eradicating de chauvinism of French literature and to getting-so called regional and postcolonial literatures into the world literary space, or, as Goethe would say, into the Weltliteratur. Finally, a balance sheet will be drawn up on whether the catalogue started by Lesfargas, with the new publishers, Bernadette Paringaux and Jean-Paul Blot, has maintained the poet’s legacy or not. Després d’haver cultivat la poesia i d’haver exercit com a llibreter, traductor i professor, Bernat Lesfargas (1924-2018) va fundar el 1975 el segell editorial Fédérop, del qual en serà director fins al 1999. L’objectiu d’aquest article és, d’una banda, analitzar com l’educació rebuda i la feina en el món del llibre van influir en el despertar de la consciència occitana del poeta, en el seu suport al federalisme europeu i, en conseqüència, en la creació del projecte editorial. De l’altra, s’intentarà respondre com les publicacions de Fédérop van contribuir, dins l’Estat francès, a erradicar el xovinisme de la literatura francesa i fer entrar les anomenades literatures regionals i postcolonials en l’espai literari mundial, o, com diria Goethe, en la Weltliteratur.
