https://plumas.occitanica.eu/1320 Dans le vaste corpus dramatique nissart des XIXe et XXe siècles, les pièces historiques ne sont pas nombreuses. Mais au XXIe le Théâtre Niçois de Francis Gag remet à l’honneur ce genre théâtral en créant cinq comédies qui exploitent l’histoire locale : de Jean-Luc Gag Santìssimou Bambino (2006) et Raça ’stirassa (2010, reprise et publiée en 2016), d’Hervé Barelli Ahì (2010), Doun van béure li bèstia ? (2013) et Crònica d’en riba de mar (2015). On examine tout d’abord l’usage dramaturgique que font ces auteurs de la matière historique : typologie générique, nature et source des fables, traitement du temps, de l’espace et des personnages. La question de l’intention qui préside à la représentation de l’histoire de Nice est ensuite posée : est-elle esthétique, didactique ou critique ? Enfin est étudiée la manière dont les deux dramaturges transcendent le passé : en dénonçant le présent ou en décrivant la mentalité niçoise dans ses très anciennes composantes linguistique, culturelle et psychologique. In the vast nissart dramatic corpus of the XIXth and XXth centuries, the historical plays aren’t many. However, in the XXIst century the Théâtre Niçois de Francis Gag put the spotlight on this theatrical genre, creating five comedies based on local history : Santìssimou Bambino (2006) and Raça ’stirassa (2010, replayed and published in 2016) by Jean-Luc Gag, Ahì (2010), Doun van béure li bèstia ? (2013) and Crònica d’en riba de mar (2015) by Hervé Barelli.We examine first the dramaturgical use of the historical material by these authors : generic typology, type and sources of the fabulas, time, space and characters processing. Then we wonder about the intention that governs the depiction of history of Nice : is it aesthetic, didactic, critical ? Finally we study the way the two playwrights transcend the past : by thinking about the present or by describing the mentality of the people of Nice, with its very old linguistic, cultural and psychological components.
